I have been considering starting a small army of post-heresy Alpha Legion CSM because I adore their color scheme. I was planning on using the "contrast paint over leadbelcher" technique for the metallic teal armor because from what I've seen of it before, it looks absolutely amazing. That being said, I'm not sure which contrast paint works best for the Alpha Legion's color scheme. I've seen people online use both Akhelian Green and Terradon Turquoise for their Alpha Legion, and it's extremely hard to tell the difference on the internet. Heck, even Aethermatic Blue looks like it could work.

The exact color I'm looking for is a darkish teal, about as dark as a layer of Sotek Green with a nice wash over it. The steel parts are probably going to be layered in Ironbreaker, with a Grey Knights Steel edge highlight if I'm feeling skillful that day. I'm getting the feeling that Terradon Turquoise might work best for this, but I'm worried that it might be a bit too dark when used over a metallic. Can be put on via brush, but using the airbrush will give you a much smoother finish. I'm not at home at the moment, so sadly I can't show any pictures of my tries so far.
