Any advice on how to improve at painting skin (light, dark, tanned, and - most worryingly - green...) and faces would be greatly appreciated!

Really great sculpt, this guy has definitely been hitting the gym! I remember painting my Skull Pass Warriors, much smaller and more fiddly!

This new set is a lot bigger than I remember the 90s version being. All these guys are on 32mm bases (even the goblins which looks a little weird to me). And of course that means the whole board has been scaled up to fit as well! It's huge, barely fits on my table! I'd say the hand is looking a tad heavy on the wash. This character has a turntable on the GW site so have a look at that and then look at some youtube tutorial on softening washes or something like that.

I'm a table-ready painter at best, so I'm not sure how I would go about it. Skin can be a sod to get right. Maybe careful work with a fine detail brush to apply a mix of the wash used and the neighbouring lighter colour?
