The first list uses the Blightbringer and the Helbrute has a lascannon. The second group uses a Tallyman and a full array of combi-weapons on the Blightlords but the Helbrute trades his lascannon for a plasma cannon. Another option would be to scrap one combi-weapon and change the Tallyman for a Plague Surgeon. I think the Tallyman is probably the best option with his awesome new rules but having a twin lascannon and +1" move would be pretty nasty at this point level. Edit: i just thought of another option using the Deathguard Chaos Lord and added it in at the bottom. Losing the psychic abilities sucks but hes cheap enough to allow for the Tallyman and the lascannon while also giving a "reroll 1's to hit" buff. (does he even have a model though?)

My suggestion is more troops and less skew into elites and supports. Spending almost half your points on a unit then another 15%+ in a character that supports that unit is a little off putting (to me).

I’d suggest: blightlords, the plaguecaster, one unit of poxxies, one unit of cultists and that’s about all you’ll fit.

Blightlords I like with a pathogen sarge with sword giving him S6 -3 with 1 damage and modified with your favorite pathogen. This lets him wound on 2s naturally against MEQ with Comtagions. Probably blight launcher, combi-melta and a few axes (not on sarge). Reaper auto cannon if you have extra points maybe.

With 100 points in poxxies you can have a deceptive amount of board presence and control with such a “small” army surrounding 6 actual DG models. I plan to intentionally keep it as a low number force for fluff reasons. Think of it as a small tactical force that might be used to board a ship or perform a surprise attack on a small fortification.

Now with the above in mind, id still like it to be as effective as possible within that limitation.
