I'm trying to locate an airbrush friendly paint (ideally Citadel) that will be the same or nearly the same color as Corax white and Chaos black rattle cans.

I'm NOT using them as a primer. I'm using them as a base coat, following the Games Workshop painting suggestions.

Will Abaddon black achieve the same result as Chaos black? Citadel makes Abaddon black in an 'air' version, so that'd be nice and easy.

I have NO idea what to use in place of Corax white. I've read Corax white is a slightly grey color?

That's perfect, because I can prime and then airbrush Abaddon Black (since Citaldel carries it as an airbrush paint) as the base.

I don’t remember it being greyish but I chucked mine ages ago. What are you using it for? If you want a white base I think there’s lots of options but I’d pickup a white airbrush primer.

I'm trying to follow the Citadel paint color recommedations for base coloring (most of) the Nighthaunt units. They used Corax white. I primed the model with Corax White to act as my basecoat. If you need to do any touch up this colour is pretty close to Ulthuan Grey...

Then how about buying the paint and some airbrush thinner and making your own stock of airbrush-able corax white. I know Green Stuff world do an airbrush thinner that I have used and I expect Vallejo do one.

I've read/watched tons of stuff about repotting Citadel paint into droppers. Sometimes people use water, other times they use an airbrush medium. I think I'm going to try the latter. I'm hoping I can still brush with it, but it should be easier to further thin it down for my airbrush.
