Advice on which brushes are best for fine oil-paint weathering.

'Sup Dakka - long time, no post.

As the title says, I'm looking for some advice on which brand/type of brushes are good quality and durable enough for painting some of the finer details of weathering using oil paints.

I'm currently using synthetic Daler Rowney Sapphires, but the ends have just become squared off and useless for any fine lining. My general technique is to apply a thick line of oil paint and then use a 'sharp' brush wetted in Sansodor to pare it down into a fine line. But with those squared ends, there's only a certain resolution I can get down to before the brush is just too blunt to be useful. I'd be interested to know if there is a preferred brand or type of brush which would allow me to perform this technique but remain crisp and sharp (as, for example, a Series 7 does with acrylics).

I had tried asking this on Reddit, and found people to be... unhelpful asshats, so I'm hoping trusty Dakka will have some relevant and useful advice (which it usually does!).
