Either way, my gut feeling is that outside of whatever is a proxy for the current GW hotness, the big seller is boobies. And possibly improbable-to-be-printed dragons.

the next best thing are historical niches, that are not available in plastic yet.

It would be to sell STLs. Ufff... I'm not really interested in modeling boobs hahaha and dragons... well, better than boobs, but I was looking for something more varied haha

Yes, and the truth is that it is difficult to find something that is not overexploited. Competing with the big ones is hard.

Make what is going to make you happy and satisfied, nothing will kill your drive faster than making something you don't actually like making.

DnD is a massive community that will continue to expand as 3D printing does, my local shops now often stock a bunch of DnD related mini's.

DnD is also a great move from where you are already in the FDM terrain space. As DnD players will want both terrain and mini's, with variety from humanoids, monsters, and other cool unique projects.

then boobs. Boobs sell joking. But yeah, DnD turned out to be one of those surprise markets I didnt anticipate and they were bigger than my 40k market.
