GK Dreadknight conversion Brainstorming Session

Hey all, I am in the process of primaris-scaling some Grey Knights just so they look a little less dinky compared to other space marine armies. While I was at it, i figured I'd try to make the dreadknight feel a little better and I wanted to see what others thought. my plan is to take inspiration from some of the newer Necromunda models like this one.

What thought i'd do is some kind of kit bash with a knight armiger and a dreadknight like in these images:

https://www.dakkadakka.com/gallery/1199091-Dreadknight%20Conversion%20Attempt%202%20WIP.html

https://www.dakkadakka.com/gallery/1199090-Dreadknight%20Conversion%20Attempt%201%20WIP.html

but no matter how many Knight parts I add, it all feels so skinny compared to the dreadknight. Maybe I'm overcomplicating everything and could get there faster by swapping the Dreadknight legs onto an armiger and that would make the baby carrier vibe go away? I dont know anymore. If anyone has any ideas, let me know!

I recon it'll look a lot better when you have some armour panels on it.
Check out what an actual knights legs look like before armour panels..

GK Dreadknight conversion Brainstorming Session

It’s definitely a tricky one.

I think I’d want to be starting somewhere else. Perhaps a scale model kit of those shooty walker combat frame things that formed the one bright point in the otherwise ropey Matrix sequels?

In terms of proportions, those should be suitably chunky?
