Priming & Painting Heroquest Minis

Has anyone tried priming and painting the latest release of Heroquest minis? I primed some goblins and what should be a matte primer appears a bit glossy. Using P3 paints, I also feel like paint application isn't gripping like it should. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions if you ran into similar issues?

You may wan to wash them in hot water before priming and then let them dry going forward.

However, I primed with GW Grey Seer, then gave them a dark grey wash, and a cheap acrylic white drybrush followed by speedpaints and a light tone wash.

No problems.

My P&M Blog
https://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/813889.page
