Re:First GW animated depiction of Eldar aircraft

The Nightwing as described in the Imperial Armour books has a gravity dampened field in the cockpit (counteracting any G-forces from maneuvers) and combined with its wraithbone construction is capable of performing maneuvers that Imperial airframes and pilots cannot tolerate. In BFG, Eldar Darkstar fighters are said to have some form of inertial dampening that allows them to turn on the spot, so it is possible that Nightwings have some lesser form of this.
Re:First GW animated depiction of Eldar aircraft

For dramatic dogfight purposes the trajectory of the Eldar craft has to be clear to the viewer especially when the Eldar shoots and destroys Imperial craft, so if it is multiple images constantly dancing around all over the place, it may not be easily clear where the real Nightwing is. Though that might be closer to what is described for the holofield (a cloud of mulit-colored shards), the viewer has to be able to easily see what is happening in the fight such as when the Nightwing shoots down Imperial aircraft without the need for pausing or replaying. Then the animators also want an opportunity to show Eldar pilot skill so it can't all just be because the Imperials pick the wrong image every time.
