I want to encourage GW to do stuff like this more often, but I also remember when the results from the Koronus campaign were firmly against the imperials and the fluff "representing" that was, "Oh man! Chaos has had some minor victories, but it sure has been awfully close!"

More seriously, I like the *idea* of this. I'd generally be down for seeing something like this every quarter as a way of making people feel a smidge more connected to the goings on of the setting. Fork over the money for someone to write a few paragraphs of fluff every few months. Yeah, but you can't really have it affect anything major. GW learned that the hard way after the 2004 Storm of Chaos for WHFB. Orc and Goblins players absolutely hijacked that campaign, and GW (to their credit) did write the fluff to match the results. They just retconned it out of existence almost immediately thereafter.
