My second son's Genestealer Cult, its the Behemold Undercult from the book who 'worship' old One Eye as his main Tyranid army is Behemoth. I am using this force to test Contrast paints on, so everything is Contrast paints inc the base, then the models have had a 60/40 Nuln oil/Water wash to tie them together. This is what I consider halfway done, need to do detail work and the like and bases, but for now for around 5-6hrs work the army is looking like its almost painted for games rather than being just undercoated. It's why I liked the idea of contrast as I have such a backlog to go through. I have already added another two squads and a vehicle to the painting bench and am hoping to have his whole force done to this level in the next week. |
