I am presently in the process of building the Ultra Marine Chapter. I only have 1st and 2nd collected with only 50% painted. Im will have the entire chapter before I die including ships, tanks, and serf's..
Thank you for posting this it gives me great pleasure to know I am not alone in my endeavor.

@ Neon, Ah but this isn't codex marines, this is my own chapter who have a company dedicated to each marine codex.
1st company is termies only / Deathwing/loganwing etc
2nd company is Veteran marines (white helmed power armour guys)
3rd company is Space wolves + TWC etc
4th company is a battle ocmpany codex style
5th company is Blood angels DOA only
6th company is Black templars pure marines and scouts
7th company is all bikers and speeders
8th company is all Grey knights
9th company is extra marines as I had too many HQ's and Deathwatch/killteam marines so their the honour company
10th company is my scouts |

I think it is 963 marines (Forgot some for photo), and I think close to 70 vehicles, mostly rhinos and razorbacks, but 3 of every vehicle at least from the codexs (3 vindicators, 3 baal preds etc) land raiders i kept it to 6 as don't need many more |
