Since there is no official Chaos Contemptor Dreadnought model (just yet!) I felt it would be a good idea to create my own.
It's armed with 2 Dreadnought Close Combat Weapon arms and a Plasma Blaster, but both arms are magnetised so I can swap them out for different wargear if necessary.
The metal edging on each panel is made from thin strips of plasticard carefully cut to slot together nicely. The studs that line each strip are cut sections of plastic rod and the parchment is made from green-stuff.
The iron halo type arch is the collar of a Bloodcrusher and the sword is a modified Nemesis Greatsword, found on the mighty Dreadknight kit. I shortened the sword and the handle a considerable amount and modified the hilt to have claws instead of rounded tips. |

I've not been a fan of the contemptor model in general, as I like my dreads squat and boxy, but your work here is changing my mind. this is really great stuff :) |

Love it, not sure about the Iron halo you got goin on there, maybe make it a bit more chaosy? i thought it was a blood angels Contemptor for half a second. X.x no offense intended if taken. Great model though! |
