Doing up a Tyranid Prime as the HQ of my army (all I can afford right now).
I followed a tutorial over at Miniwargaming.com (Boneswords and lashwhips tut)
I did not follow the tut for the lash whip. Rather, I took apart a spinefist and set it up with a spindly piece of wire with a little GS and a spine at the end. The bone sword is custom made, from the large scything talons I took after with my knife and file. The dynamic pose was done with some hot/cold water treatment to bend it up a bit. |
