Image Description: I converted this from a BA-10 Soviet WW2 armoured car to be a semi-luxury, semi-fighting vehicle for a high ranking kommissar or imperial official. The first edition plastic beaky marine is to indicate scale.
Kid_Kyoto Painting 4/10, Coolness 8/10 @ 2009-08-23 17:06:10 Nice job, I love that vehicle, I think it really does look like a 40k limo should. The model could use some weathering but overall looks fine.
I have a few in my gallery that I did as terrain. It always bugged me how we have all these 40k cities and no vehicles in the streets.
Athlon2736 2009-08-27 04:14:52 Ya know I want to know whot to make that your if thats just a Tamiya model... It its scratch built... THEN THATS AMAZING! If you didn't still..... its a good Idea
Kilkrazy Painting 6/10, Coolness 8/10 @ 2009-09-03 21:30:39 The kit is some Russian make, not scratch. I did just a few modifications to make it look more 'Imperial'.
Kilkrazy Painting 6/10, Coolness 8/10 @ 2009-09-03 21:31:43 I didn't want to weather it because I was going for the 'top level Kommissar's personal limo just out of the car wash' look.
However, weathering seems to be popular so I shall weather my SM vehicles.
