Image Description:
A model I painted quite a while ago; compared to my current base + shade + layer + highlights this was just a base + black wash, with only tiny amounts highlighting down near the base, yet it still looks surprisingly good, enough that I've never repainted it.
It's actually a testament to just how good the model is as the details all just stand out with a minimum of effort, while I might do things a little differently if I repainted it, I'd still use much the same colour scheme and do nothing truly fancy, and it'd still look good.
Apologies that the image isn't great, I really need to get a better camera. |
