I wanted these guys to be a midway between more modern mechanized grenadier troops and 18c Napoleonic Grenadiers as elite regiments of tall strong soldiers that tear the enemy line apart with grenades and bayonets( hence the blood, bundled charge being thrown and heavy flamer). |
