At some point in time, I received an unfinished Kannon in with a batch of material from eBay. I wasn't really planning to field any Big Guns, so it went into the bitz box. During one of our trips to the FLGS, Nic noticed some Star Wars head nic-nacs in the clearance bin. He picked them up saying we could make Killa-Kans from them. I was skeptical, but figured that $2.50 per head beat $35 per Killa-Kan and we picked up a bunch of them. A few weeks later, I made my first attempt at building one of these things. It went like a first attempt. Definitely needs some green stuff and TLC, but it's tourney legal, which is just fun. Besides, everyone seems to love my goofy, clanking Star Wars Killa-Kans. |
