When I first met the Hobbytown Fugees, it was to trade miniatures with the Grand Preceptor. The Hobbytown we were to meet at was closed, so out on the streets of Downtown Oak Park I took out my plastic crack and laid it atop the lid of a garbage can. We hunched over the goods, and he paid me cash for the items (the plastic crack in question was Tyranid terrain pieces, as I recall).
In the midst of this we heard a loud, "Hey! Deal that stuff somewhere else!" It was jmisuinas. They were going to sneak back into the Hobbytown through the back door (with the owner's knowledge!) and play in the basement.
Gaming Club Name
When I met them, they were playing 40k in the basement of Hobbytown after hours. Eventually I agreed to play in a Necromunda campaign and got to meet the rest of them.
Hobbytown closed, and we were fugees for life.
Club Rules
If you piss on the seat, remember to wipe. This is not a metaphor, though it probably could be.
Contact Details
Probably not much point. People play lots of different things these days. We're all in the Chicagoland area, with an emphasis on the words "land" and "area."
