Macro really does pick up every last detail, at least now i can see what places need touching up.

For my guardians i was wondering whether to wash them like the guy on the right in the first picture or keep them like the guy on the left?

If you're not sure... try watering down the wash, and seeing the effect that creates. It'll sink into all the recesses, whilst keeping the flat surfaces closer to their original colour.
