I'm obviously new (why else would I be posting here?), although definitely not new to the hobby. I've been an occaisional lurker here on and off, mostly when I want an answer to a question or some hints on army design (thank the Gods for Search!).

Seeing the 25th Anniversary of 40K logo on the latest White Dwarf brought to mind the fact I've been playing that game for approximately 23 years... I'm now feeling positively old. I play 40K mostly, and I'm currently trying to get back into Fantasy, although a dearth of opponents in my area makes that a more difficult proposition.

What do I play? Well...
40K: Dark Angels (my oldest love), Chaos Marines, Imperial Guard (Renegades), Imperial Guard (Loyal), and some old-school eldar kicking away in my closet.
WHFB: Vampire Counts (started way back with the Undead army of olde), Chaos Warriors, and some old-school beastmen kicking the eldar in my closet.

And a whole lotta other stuff covering the vast realm that is historical wargaming...

I'll likely continue to lurk for the most part, but may post the odd pic of my latest painted troops from time to time... See you around.

I would really enjoy seeing your old miniatures! If you get a chance, check out the Old Miniatures thread. Shameless promotion of a thread I started, but I'd really like to see it become a community-driven thread where people share their ancient treasures and memories of years gone past.
