Once we get through the first set of games, we can spend our points to unlock the new choices and the point total will increase to 750pts, 1000, etc. So, keeping this in mind, I would like to create an army that can be easily expanded, due to my budget constraints.

Now, as for the games I've played. I've gone through two games, and I've been tabled both games. The first game was against the Dark Eldar (the Lords of Chaos were not with me and I barely managed 2 kills in the game, but none of my daemons scattered, I was mowed down by Splinter Rifles on Raiders with Splinter Racks). The second against Imperial Guard (the Lords granted my favor and destroyed the tank, the elites inside, and then were summarily peppered to death).

Any feedback is well appreciated. Here is my current list (limited to 500pts for the first few battles):

Other thoughts:
After the first couple of games, it felt like I would have been better off without the Herald on Chariot, scrapped the Daemonettes, and either brought more Pink Horrors or swapped the Daemonettes for Bloodletters.
After a bit, I thought that the Daemonettes and Herald on Chariot could have been swapped out for Plaguebearers and a Chaos Icon, but the Icon is a bit much and could net me a better Herald.

Really, the main problem you'll have is that you have to wave, meaning you are committing 250pts to the board, and if they wipe out that 250pts with their 500pts you lose as you have no models on the board.

I'd keep the chariot as he's surprisingly tough especially at that points level and gives you anti tank, and replace the Deamonettes with more horror's, the 4+ save is great!

Vs. Vehicles look to deepstrike behind the vehicle if not suicide to do so and torrent the rear armour usually 10 to death with your horrors. A cheeky bolt of tzeentch into the rear wouldn't hurt either.

For your next addition I would think about screamers.
Or a heavy support.

But from what I see, these are probably about the most optimized lists you can reasonably run at the points, FO restrictions or not.

(this is only my opinion) I understand your idea of mixing different Gods of chaos to balance the different units. For example horrors being good at long range and bloodletters being amazing as a melee unit. Your only worry is that if your opponent is taking a unit of terminators then it is not recommended to take bloodletters since the 6th edition rules say that hellblades only counts as AP3 so the terminators will still get their armour save. Perhaps for your troops selection you could replace 5 horrors and your daemonettes with 7 plagubearers since they own at holding objectives and the probability that you are using objectives is a 2/3 chance. I would spend less points on your troops options and i would definitely recommend getting a daemon prince with wings since they have got even better now.

I have 20 pts left, (Heavies cost 10 ea, FA/E cost 6 ea, HQ cost 5 ea, Troops Cost 2 ea, named HQ usable every other game 8 ea).

Going to disagree slightly here - large squads of Horrors are actually quite good now.
