Absoloutley love their fluff and found it to be the saddest story in the 40k universe imo. After reading all the fluff it got me thinking about the dark vengeance. Do you reckon one of the chaos chosen or the lord is a fallen angel? If the background is already known however then I would love to hear it. I read that some fallen take up new identities and the lord or chosen have spent a lot of time in the warp i.e. they are very old, so is it possible one of them is the fallen? Thus I doubt there is anything in the fluff about characters from this starter set beyond the hints in the BRB of 6th ed. The chaotic side of the starter-set surely has no fallen ( officially ) but as usual the models can be whatever you want them to be.
Maybe the next DA codex integrates this " Dark Vengeance" into the background of the DA.
The excerpt in WD gathered some debate, as it wasn't really that good. Didn't like it myself, as it doesn't fit the fluff nor the bat-rep in WD...
