FW Storm eagle saying it's the worst cast model Forgeworld has put out in years, with reports of pieces not fitting, extensive warping and lots of greenstuffing required to have a passable model.

I was planning on using it as a storm raven counts-as in my new army, but I'm not sure I want to deal with this kind of quality issue. Has anyone put together the kit recently that has had good experiences?

Otherwise, I'll likely go the Chapterhouse / storm raven kit .

You can get the base kit from a discounters so it will be substantially cheaper, and I, having a pair myself, think they look way better proportioned than the originals.
