The Dawn of War - Scout Squad

Hi guys.

I'm still pressing forward with my Blood Ravens army. In the past week, i pushed out 4 scouts (the 5th had an accident with GS >.< ).

I decided against the general green camo, and went with a brown camo (to fit nicer with my base).

I also went with gun camo. It's never occured to me to paint camo on the sniper rifles before, i'm not sure i like it(?).

Im not quite sure if the gun camo looks good. What do you think?

I think the camo looks great, as does the camo on the gun - makes sense. For me the non camo bits should be black rather than silver otherwise it would glint?

Googled it and it seems pretty common to camo your gun.

Thanks for the comments about the camo Having only ever done green, it was nice to change and i think i've pulled it off.

As for this silver, yeah it probably should be black

I think the silver adds a great contrast to the camo on the gun (which looks great). I would leave it silver. Sure it doesn't match common sense but neither do intergalactic super humans ...

Yep, gun camo is a nice touch. Maybe you could throw a little more on the bases though?

The art of basing has always eluded me, but it's improved alot from basing the whole thing with static grass
