				<title>Shadow Captain LaSalle</title>
				<description><![CDATA[ This has been a <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(148);'>WIP</span> for quite some time now, with me fighting for time to finish off his rules and the model.  Once I get home I'll put a picture of the model here as well, and a picture after I finish painting him and the squad of veterans he leads.<br /> <br /> So, without further ado here he is:<br /> <br /> Shadow Captain Van'Oreep LaSalle "The Reaper"<br /> <br /> 195 points<br /> <br /> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(149);'>WS</span> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(14);'>BS</span> S T W I A <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(82);'>Ld</span> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(157);'>Sv</span><br /> ...6...5...4.4.3..5.4.10.3/4+<br /> <br /> <b>Equipment:</b> Jump Pack, Iron Halo, Bolt Pistol, The Raptor's Beak<br /> <br /> <u><b>Special Rules:</b></u><br /> <b>Chapter Tactics</b>: All squads with combat tactics replace that rule with Stealth and Move Through Cover.<br /> <br /> <b>Preferred Enemy (Chaos)</b><br /> <br /> <b>The Raptor's Beak:</b> The Raptor's Beak is a two handed power weapon that allows LaSalle to attack in two different ways.  The number of each method must be declared prior to any strikes in the fight sub-phase.<br /> ---Scythed end:<br /> ------S: User<br /> ------<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(6);'>AP</span>: 3<br /> ------Special: Rending, Inflicts D3 wounds on to wound roll of 6<br /> ---Staff end:<br /> ------S: User +2<br /> ------<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(6);'>AP</span>: 4<br /> ------Special: Concussive, Every hit reduces enemy <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(149);'>WS</span> by 1 until the end of the next assault phase.<br /> <br /> Sweep Attack: LaSalle may elect to attack once for every model in base contact with him.  By doing this the attacks on his profile are ignored, and the number of his attacks may not be modified in any way.<br /> <br /> <br /> Any questions/comments/suggestions are welcome.  Though I will say that I really want him to be 195 points so he can be a direct substitute for Shrike if my opponent doesn't want me to use him.<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Also, just finished up painting him tonight. 				<description><![CDATA[ Looks acceptable.  I would play against it, (as long as he was an awesomely painted model of course).  His scythe end maybe should have that rule that Sauron from <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(86);'>LOTR</span> has, which is where he can sweep it around and hit each model in base contact once.]]></description>

It would most likely lose momentum quite rapidly, while the scythed end has weight and can go through armor.  Fluff wise it makes sense to allow for sweeping with the scythe only is what I'm thinking.<br /> <br /> <br /> Also, finally got the first round of painting on him done.]]></description>
