Black Orcs

Long story short. I have 30 Black orcs coming in the mail that are going to have to be painted.

I am not a fan of the classic black armor or boltgun metal look.

Therefore I want to paint 15 with Yellow Armor and the Other with Blue. I was wondering if anyone could think of an easy SANE method to do this. I do everything by hand for the most part, no air brush or anything. I'm just trying to think in terms of white primer vs black primer and so on.

I will post picks once I get them, they should arrive on monday!

I would think dark blue armor with boltgun highlights and yellow with black highlights would look best. The yellow should probably be white primer, while dark blue would be black.

There is a Badmoon Tutorial that could work for you. I prime black for my badmoon and just do multiple layers... of watered down yellow.

http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/374651.page

Cool concept and pretty easy!

I would use a black primer and go from a dark yellow up to a lighter yellow highlight, and for blue I would do the same. Going from darks to lights in a couple layers.
