I think they also have a much shorder one too.

Rock solid stability, you can put it at angles and secure it with a screw. Can attach to the flyer with a screw-in base.

It is very large, and very heavy.

I am working on a few designs, but it is going to involve some serious metal bolts, a 1" acrylic rod, and a very heavily weighted base. Even then, I am not sure I could do it.

If you want a ball joint, it would need an excessive amount of strength (think industrial quality machine mounting)
