For the basing I am just curious as how one would do jungle bases. I have a good idea for normal units, but with the MC like Hive Tyrants and Tervigons what would make sense to have on that base, and how would I pull it off. Any and all advice in this situation is going to be helpful I think so just give it to me

These two are the best I could do, the first a simple google search and the second courtesy of the army painter feature here on dakka. I know they aren't a lot to go off of but what do you think of the general idea. Also what paints would you say I need?

I hope I am not asking too much of you. I am really glad I migrated to dakkdakka the conditions over on reddits warhammer subs are just god awful.

If you want to give them the borderlands look then i suggest you look up a dakka user named 'Nard'. He has painted his nids in a method that resembles cell shading which is the borderlands effect you are looking for.
