I really want to switch out the regular predator for a baal because i rather have the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(126);'>TL</span> autocanon over a fourth <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(126);'>TL</span> las.<br /> <br /> Criticism welcome, Hasn't been play tested yet. You need more scoring units. you have 1 5-man squad. 5 out of 6 missions are objectives and you will not be able to wipepout any army with what you have.<br /> <br />  I am not sure were to start with your list because i feel it needs to be compeltely scrapped and reworked.<br /> <br /> At 1500 pts i would scrap mephiston and the chaplain. take the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(51);'>HB</span> off the predator. You <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(87);'>LR</span> does not need extra arm or the pintle storm bolter. <br /> <br /> Man you just need to rework completely. This list is an auto-lose i feel. <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(10);'>BA</span> are the weakest army right now, they are my only army <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(17);'>BTW</span>. Any oppanant will just throw everything at you 5 troops on round 1 and 2, kill them and just play defensive the whole time. <br /> <br /> I would start as a basis<br /> <br /> 10-man Assault Squad, 2x melta, power weapon, melta bombs<br /> 10-man assault Squad, 2x Flamer, power fist<br /> 2 Sanquinary Priest, <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(457);'>JP</span><br /> i personally always add a 10-man Tactical squad, drop pod, flamer, heavy bolter, melta bombs, power weapon to create panic.<br /> <br /> Use that as a base and build up from there. The priest and the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(265);'>FNP</span> are one of the only things we have that are good. Any you need scoring units more that death company. For fun you can throw the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(349);'>DC</span> in the Stormraven.]]></description>

So i can't really run 2 full assault squads.<br /> <br /> drop pod with that <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(167);'>tac</span> squad i can easily do ( just painting )<br /> <br /> I didn't want to put anything into the storm raven because i wouldn't be able to assault the turn it drops unless I hover it which puts it at higher risk for that turn. <br /> <br /> I'll play test this list at least once tho to try it =P I'm known for trying complete homebrew stuff in Magic that killed the top tier decks by slapping them silly. Usually were one trick ponies tho ]=<br /> <br /> As for Priests with <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(457);'>JP</span>. Priest goes with one squad of ASM and librarian in the other. Trying to keep close to get the 6" <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(265);'>FNP</span> to both ASM squads. Drop plops by an objective or just in the backfield to make chaos. I also have been trying to deploy a little consolidated and spear heading my way around. I find with my <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(10);'>BA</span> that if i deploy to spread out i just get wiped fast because we lack numbers. Also it lets me be able to move the priests around to give <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(265);'>FNP</span> where needed.<br /> <br /> ]]></description>

My goal is to make an entirely mechanized list. <br /> I can see the obvious benefits of what and how your fielding things.<br /> <br /> Cause my long term goal would probably be 3 razorbacks with 5 assault marines each for my troops.<br /> <br /> I am an idiot. 				<description><![CDATA[ razorbacks can be glanced to death real quickly and 5 man squads will not do anything. 39 troops soldiers are small when you compare to a similar sized orc, necron, space wolf, or or plain marines or worse yet chaos. I play a game against <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(22);'>CSM</span> with orc allies and just got decimated.<br /> <br /> I would be ok subbing the tacts with the death company with bolters. that way you drop them out of a pod turn 1. they then rapid fire the bolters, then you rush them in turn 2. they should be okay that. People also seem to get scared by them.<br /> <br /> I think you might be able to drop jump infantry while in zoom mode from you stormraven. i am not sure about that though.<br /> <br /> Honestly if you want to bring some mech then grab some imperial guard allies. You get a few good things there, blobs of cheap infrantry , vendettas and mech. Plus fluffwise its pretty cool. My next major <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(10);'>BA</span> purchase is a whole bunch of mantic warpath guys with heavy weapons teams. Something like this gives you a spearhean of hard hitting power army guys and blob infantry to hold objectives and provide cover fire.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Dump Mephiston. He's bad in 6th edition. Actually ,very bad for 250 pts. <br /> <br /> Don't let people talk you off the razorback. One of the few advantages the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(10);'>BA</span> still have in 6th is our fast vehicles. Plasma and <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(328);'>MLs</span> aren't good at killing them in an efficient manner. Your opponent will need more destructive weapons to reliably eliminate them. <br /> <br /> Don't use the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(349);'>DC</span>. The <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(10);'>BA</span> have better elites and that's basically what the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(349);'>DC</span> are, not troops. Their tricks only work on the charge, and that's a no-go for their price and limitations. <br /> <br /> Ditch chaplains. Use divination librarians. They can do much more for their squad than the chappy. <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(10);'>BA</span> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(67);'>ICs</span> suck in <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(58);'>HTH</span>. Get used to it. Deal with it. <br /> <br /> Your pred is configured in an inefficient manner. For budget tank hunting, use autolas. For anti-infantry, use the dakka Baal. <br /> <br /> Work in <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(330);'>MM</span> attack bikes. They are probably the single most useful unit in the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(10);'>BA</span> codex now. Give them <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(265);'>FNP</span> and they are anti-tank nightmares. <br /> <br /> I myself am using hybrid mech with the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(10);'>BA</span>. I put my libby and <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(759);'>SP</span> in with my 10 man assault squad, and everyone else is a biker or rides a transport. The assault squad is there to be on counter attack duty for when people get close to my shooty tanks. Yes, this is truly the "coward angel" approach, but 6th has really neutered us. <br /> <br /> ]]></description>

With that you've got 150 mor points to spend on another squad of assault marines. I've also put stormshield on my sarges as they take the challenge and soak up the attacks and than smack back. 				<description><![CDATA[ Don't want your 5 man assault squad shot off the board? Want them to tote their special weapons into <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(19);'>CC</span> where they're useful on the turn they arrive and for a fraction of the cost? Take Vanguard Veterans. Sure you have to buy their jump packs and they can't bring Independent Characters but they are still some of the most viable units in a foot <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(10);'>BA</span> list. Being able to reroll reserves and then deep strike with a <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(24);'>d6</span> scatter and then immediately charge some poor unsuspecting sap is too good to pass up. If our whole codex had this ability (and were not fighting Interceptor spam Tau) our codex would be broken, but even dropping a 5 man squad with 4 melta bombs in to wreck armor or Monstrous creatures on Turn two for only 185 pts is pretty awesome. <br /> <br /> Sternguard are cool too but in a different way, we do do them better than most chapters though as we can put Corbulo and Tycho in the pod with them for a ridiculously durable Sternie unit.<br /> <br /> Use Honor guard to your advantage. They can do pretty much anything you want them to, come with a free Sanguinary priest in the cost of the unit and make great protection/transport for your warlord.<br /> <br /> In general, I try not to hybridize, I have the options to, but I either run Armor Spam or Infantry. Trying to do both nets you not enough bodies and not enough <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(9);'>AV</span> so if they brought enough AI, you get your scoring units wiped off the board and if they brought some <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(482);'>AT</span> you lose your long range fire support and if they brought both, on better platforms than <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(10);'>BA</span> can scrap together, you just lose. You get tabled. Focus on one. <br /> <br /> you always need an element to get close and an element to sit back and shoot. In a foot list, bring <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(29);'>Devs</span> and scouts and maybe a tactical squad or two if you have room and have a job for them to do. In a mech list, bring everything that you normally would, but then plan to use Las/<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(166);'>plas</span> razors or <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(336);'>HF</span> razors and Flamer Baals/Land Raiders to get close and do some damage, then let the rest of your vehicles support them from long range<br /> <br /> and most of all, have fun.
