Also, seems like that nid player was either inexperienced or just paying with what he liked as opposed to what wins (which is great too) as he didnt bring a great list and made a few mistakes. Not to downplay your victory!

At 1000pts I would have a Flyrant, Troop Tervigon w/Gants, Doom in a pod, Hormagaunts and Hive Guard. It was just due to time I had to skimp on the pics as I didnt want to slow down the game.
