This is game two of three of the 1k tournament that i entered last week. A very different tyranid army than i would have expected to face.

Well done, excellent report.

The most important rule of 40K-Page XVII of the 6th edition rulebook, the figure at the top right of the page. "Shake hands with your opponent and thank them for a good battle and fun experience." Then go out for a beer.

Great report. Well written and very informative, delt like I was aware of exactly what was happening. All I would suggest is a few closer up pictures, as sometimes it is hard to tell what unit is where from your overview images.

Also, seems like that nid player was either inexperienced or just paying with what he liked as opposed to what wins (which is great too) as he didnt bring a great list and made a few mistakes. Not to downplay your victory!

At 1000pts I would have a Flyrant, Troop Tervigon w/Gants, Doom in a pod, Hormagaunts and Hive Guard. The Doom could have done some serious damage dropped in your main firebase

I represent the Surrey Spartans gaming group. Check us out and feel free to come along for a game! https://www.facebook.com/groups/425689674233804/
Tzeentch Daemons 2000pts
Kabal of the Sundering Strike 2500pts
Eldar Corsairs 750pts
400pts Corregidor/Nomads
300pts Yu Jing
200pts+ each of Imperial and Rebel fleets for X-Wing
A Terran Alliance and Dindrenzi Fleet for Firestorm Armada
A Necromunda Goliath gang and Spyrer gang

It was just due to time I had to skimp on the pics as I didnt want to slow down the game.

Thats the kind of list I would have expected to face and I would have probably have lost.
