I'm attempting to build a bike heavy marine army based on the Minotaur Chapter. As they have a very strong minoian/anciant greek feel I did some research and found that thier cavavlry woudl have been light scout harrying forces and so perfect to translate to bike.

The problem is they would have been armed with a spear and a sword known as a Kopis http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kopis

anybody have any ideas as to how to make/bits that look similar? I don't know if this would work as I've never used Plasticard, but it's maybe worth a try.

Going along the lines of Greek-themed SM, are you going to do a full Greek themed army? Yeah it sounds like this is the way forwards.

$7.25 for 5 "techno" kopis(s?, what's the plural?), there may be more options. Google is always a good place to start.

Anybody know of any bitz sellers that would have them?

I've tried bitz box, bits barn and a couple of others and they don't list them.

Ah, well it may have to be some old sprues whittled down.
