I want to see you bounce a bullet. I want to see anyone bounce a bullet with their fancy ab muscles. Furthermore, what creature has foot thick abs?

Not only that, if you think a bullet getting stuck in your muscles(or, more likely, going through) is nothing, think again.

Rhinos are pretty much immune to anything you can carry by hand and are pretty resistant 50cal which will penetrate their skin but not much else. You have to shoot them in the eyes. Or with 50cal the head
Bears can run faster than race horses and lift 1ton boulders. They're pretty much nature's superhumans.
Bullets take a day or so to get infected and the damage they do to that level of muscle might not even leave permanent scar tissue depending on metabolism.

I heard poachers just hunt rhinos with a Jeep. According to a special I saw on illegal rhino hunting, the 'most efficient' way to hunt the rhino is to chase them in an off-road vehicle (they will panic and run) until they die of system shock. (Which doesn't take too long. I guess they have weak hearts or something.)

ANYhoo...while I did indeed go through the 'gotta kill me sucka!' phase in my life, I've got a wife and a son now, and in a robbery situation, I'm not resisting unless resistance is required to protect my dependents from bodily harm. It's just not worth the possibility of my wife or child getting hurt to try and be a hero.

It doesn't work. Muscle will not save you. Fat will not save you. Not getting hit in a critical area will.
