It's not necessary to put so many of your troops in night scythes because it can seriously hurt your ability to put out shots early on. The reason why you'll see competitive Necron flyer lists running 5 warriors per flyer is because of how cheap it is to spam them that way.

Immortals can foot slog fairly well if you take them with res orbs. Warrior can too in large groups; ghost arks give them plenty of durability if they don't.

I can't give advice from experience about tomb blades, other than that they really kick ass with particle beamers against tyranids. Only taking 3 of them in a 2k+ pts. game I figure they wouldn't make much of a difference and I would recommend either taking 5 or 6 of them with some upgrades, just 3 with no upgrades, or none at all.

Wraiths aren't particularly effective in groups smaller than 5 or 6, as they tend to die to small arms fire too easily, especially in larger games. If you happen to have more than 3, great, if you don't, I'd still bring them, but with fewer upgrades. I've never used the casters but I'm not sure they're worth the price as you'll probably only fire them once or twice throughout the entire game. Whip coils are good but it's not necessary to bring more than a few.

The Transdimensional Beamer is absolutely worthless and should not be an option for wraiths. In order to fire it at max BS you'd have to have stood still, prevents you from charging and it's only a 12" weapon. Do not take it.

Annihilation Barges should (in most circumstances) at least shimmy in the movement phase for the jink save, by doing this, the secondary weapon will always have to snap fire. As you have now played with the list, the key question is did you enjoy playing with it (even though you lost). It is certainly not a normal interweb list.

I think the overlord has a little too much kit. Definitely don't find Phylactery worth the points, and I often use MSS as a quasi invul save in combat instead of the shifter. However, as you are in a barge, maybe drop the weave and phylactery but keep the shifter.

I think that too much of your shooting is off the board. Given the presence of the stalker, a more effective option would be to have teslamortals on foot. For anti high AV, stormtek would do nicely to replace the gauss. Put min warrior squads in the scythes for late game objectives grabbing.

Also note that destro teks should definitely be on the board, as they REALLY benefit from TL. When I run stalkers I generally load up on destroteks (plus a pulse, just to mess with the oppo head!) .

Never used Blades, so won't comment other than this unit doesn't need a stalker either.

3 wraiths is too few for me, especially considering that you have comparatively few units on the board for the oppo to shoot at. 3 whips is overkill and ditch the Beamers.

Well, what models do you have left?

More wraiths and a DLord would help (assuming double FOC), plus another stalker (if you have more troops on the ground....otherwise I'd ditch the stalker entirely and get Deathmarks instead).

I was digging the idea of an overlord that can hop off his barge and tie hard hitters up for a couple rounds. He managed to get 2 HQ kills including a warlord.

The stalker paints whatever I want the immortals and warriors to fire at. Plus I like the str 9 shot that they come with... Penned and destroyed a tau rail gun.

There is a bit of confusion due to poor communique on my part. The scythes start off the board and DS. They are empty though. The warriors and mortals foot slog... cept the despairtek. He does his veil thing while cackling evily.

I can agree whole heartedly. Blades were fun to turbo boost around and shoot things that weren't expecting it. They definatley need to have an increase in numbers in order to be REALLY effective. I think that blades are often underestimated and looked over by Cron players. Wraiths are awesome for tar pitting... that said, at 2k we need more than 3. with these guys 5 wraiths with three coils seems to be the magic number.

I don't have any models left (save 3 scarab bases). I was playing with the idea of a detatchment of Orks or Blood Angels. I desperatley need a good CC HQ and Squad. I was thinking about Blood Angels. You can do some pretty nasty things with their HQ and troop.
