Can Nids control objectives outside of synapse range

This came up for our group a few weeks back. I can't find anything stating they can't other than units falling back can't control objectives. So that leave me to believe that once I am lurking, if an objective is in the terrain I ran to, I am controlling it.

Need some clarification on this one. Thanks.

As long as you meet the requirements of a scoring unit, and do not fall into any of the restrictions (Like being in a vehicle etc) then you can claim the objective.

It is all in the BRB, and it is pretty clear.

Can Nids control objectives outside of synapse range

Lurking units can score out of synapse like stated above.

Feed units are a bit tougher. To get them to score they would have to assault a unit on the objective and wipe them out the last turn. The reason it would have to be last turn is because on their next turn they would be forced to leave the objective to try and assault some thing else.

Can Nids control objectives outside of synapse range

Looks like I was mistaken. I was treating the description if "feed" like a rule. It says:
"These organisms are driven by the voracious need to feed. They rampage towards the nearest prey in a frenzied attempt to sate their ravenous appetite."

I've been treating that like a rule for the past year. Learn something new every day.
