This isnt my first forgeworld model but definitely the first full resin vehicle kit and the largest model ive ever worked on. Also since i didnt enjoy it so far this is literally my first vehicle after a whole lot of infantry for the past years.


The build was easier than expected nevertheless these resin kits are definitely different to the plastic kits gw sells. And hell is that thing huge! (thats what she said)

Right now its basecaoted. This was the first time for me using masking tape and different spray can basecoats. Worked like a charm. The yellow is as crisp as i hoped to get it. The pictures wash it out and let it look like bare resin but the rest is definitely basecoated with army painter wolf grey .







Now im thinking to either copy this approach to break up the yellow:



or go for standard hazard stripes:

Obviously its not done. They grey part needs chipping too and im not completely happy with the "lines" of oil/dust/whatever.

Are you planning on adding any woflhead decals etc to the grey areas?

first up thanks . This was the first time for me getting the yellow right on a model. Figured its all about basecoat

Yes ,im planning to add some decals. Right now my freetime reduced greatly due to finding a new job but i hope to get this thing done soon.
