Separate stores, but it's rare that you to see a Sam's Club not within spittin' distance of a Walmart because it is owned and operated by Walmart Stores Inc. Both of them are gakholes imo. Secondly, Commissaries are almost always cheaper then local area markets, because they are legally bound to sell at cost (plus small surcharge, to cover some expenses). Yeah, that article said that the House wanted to pass a fe wmeasures to fund a couple part sof our government, but he Senate blocked them.

Therefore, National Parks are not open.

Not really cheaper though... sure, some of the usual items can be cheaper in the Commissary, but here's the big catch that I have found in nearly 10 years:

Milk and Dairy, Produce, Bread, and extremely limited "shelf life" items (ie, anything that will grow mold, spoil, or rot on you) will do so at a consistently, and much higher rate when purchased from the Commissary, as opposed to a place like Safeway, Kroger, Publix, or Piggly Wiggly
