I Just cannot get it to work i don't know why i just get an error message telling me that the boot device is invalid.

That being said, I think this is a good litmus test for whether you should be running linux or not. Do you have access to another machine to test if the boot cd/dvd is in-fact a bootable cd/dvd? I assume "put Linux on disk" is referring to creating a install medium, i.e. a cd or dvd? 1.) Go to google.com, and type in that exact error message. That is how to solve every computer problem in the world.

2.) Go to Tomshardware.com if you still need help. No one here is going to help you in a meaningful way.
