I have a question for yall if you could be so kind as to point me in the right direction.

I have painted most of my larger models to have somewhat of a more, glossy finish and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions as to what kind of gloss I could use. By pure coincidence I ended up getting what I now know to be a bad bottle of Nuln Oil from Citidel, and was using that for a really nice and crisp gloss effect, really makes the paint stick out and off the model. But now that I'm out, I'm looking to replicate the result. I have tried about four or five gloss varnishes (including rattle can) and this one seems to give me the best results, and is not terribly expensive.

Another option, if you liked the effect the bad Nuln Oil was giving you, perhaps try some inks? A black ink will have a glossy finish.
