Mistborn Trilogy - Anyone else read it?

Anyone else read this, well, masterpiece? I haven't read a fantasy book since I finished George Martin's Dance With Dragons (I just lost any desire to touch the Fantasy genre thanks to this... experience) but thanks to a dear friend of mine, he convinced me to give Mistborn a try and boy, am I glad I did.

From the "post-apocalyptic" setting, the very original "magic" system, the unique characters and plot, together with of a load of twists, it was a fantastic reading.

I liked the Mistborn trilogy, and was very happy it turned me on to Sanderson, whose Stormlight Chronicles series is at the very top of my 'awesome reading' list.

The Mistborn setting was cool, but the new setting he is working with for the SLC is completely awesome. Never before was I so bummed to be through a pair of 1000 page books, where a select few wear what amounts to midieval power armor, and use swords that are as powerful as lightsabers that appear out of nowhere on command. Also, he topped Allomancy and Feruchemy with gravity manipulation

The standalone Mistborn boom is next on my reading list.

Mistborn Trilogy - Anyone else read it?

I'm kinda mixed on the standalone Mistborn novel. On the one hand, it would be kinda nice to see what the world would have become after the events of The Hero of Ages, but on the other I wouldn't like to spoil my own idea of what might've happened. The entire trilogy gave us a wealth of information about a lot of things, and The Hero of Ages (spoilered because of wording)

Spoiler:

and a few odd things I can't quite recall, but it was enjoyable nonetheless.

According to the Wiki, the Wax and Wayne books are a trilogy, with the second due out later this year, and there's apparently a video game in development due for a 2015 release that takes place in the ealry stages of The Final Empire (the Empire itself, not the book, so a couple of hundred years prior to the first trilogy).
