Flyer turning; 45 degrees right or 45 degrees left

Thanks ahead of time for the answers provided.
.
Flyer movement; page 84 ZOOM; second paragraph; "... a Zooming Flyer can only make a single pivot on the spot of "up to" 90 degrees..."
.
Q) This the SAME GW terminologie "up to" as a weapon? page 74 third paragraph; "... up to 45 degrees..." and image of Leman Russ on the top right; Arc of sight 2, which means 22.5 degrees Left, and 22.5 degrees right.
.
Thus a Zooming Flyer can pivot 45 degrees left, or 45 degrees right.
.
Pretty simple, but well you know the arguments will ensue.
.

The inclusion of the word "arc." This tells us that the TOTAL amount we are allowed to turn is 45 degress.
2. The inclusion of the Diagram.
If you are in a car and turn 90 degrees to the left, that's 90 degrees. But you can also turn 90 degrees to the right instead.

That means you have a 180 degree "arc" that you could turn from the vehicles centerline. This is the fundamental difference you are missing.

If the hull mounted weapon said "it can pivot and fire 90 degrees to the left or right". Then they would be worded the same and making an apples to apples comparison.
