One of the strong suit of RG is scouting tacticals in rhinos, you can spam a bunch and have a whole army of objective secured units, making it near impossible for the enemy to get rid of all of them.

Otherwise if you're going for a fun list you have a decent build: I'd just suggest Shrike for a JP HQ as he buffs one of your assault marines (infiltrate) and fits the fluff more; I'd also keep the Ironclad with dual DCCWs instead of the hurricane bolter, he's a CC dread, not a shootty one.]]> http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/preList/619529/7289209.page http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/preList/619529/7289209.page GMT Re:[2000] - Raven Guard CM to ride in your Land Raider.

Are you planning on Deep Striking any of your Assault squads?

Rather than transporting your second Tactical squad in the Stormraven, I would give them a Drop Pod with a Locator Beacon. I was actually thinking about drop podding, but it goes over my point limit. I would also like the Stormraven to carry something.

Tactics:

Turn 1-
Scout Move Rhinos and secure as many objectives as possible, move up land raider to provide heavy fire support.

Turn 2-
Deploy drop pod, take out some enemy infantry with the tac squad inside. Use the locator beacon to deep strike the assault squad and Stormraven behind enemy lines.
