the process is:
rhinox hide with black and water (3:1:1 not too liquid)
sponging here and there and then UNDERlined with the base yellow (flash gitz in my case) plus white
the on the bigger brown areas i used very thinned down layers of metallic (can't remember which one), VERY thinned with water, so i can manage better the final effect of traslucent metal coming thru

honestly the weathering on the eagle was a "useless" extra, it is the only red part (except for the cockpit that was a sort of SURPRISE for the customer

)and the weathering on the black sadly is horrible =(
I tried it but went back again with black and covered ahahahah

Overall, I think it looks really good, although I'm not crazy about the base because the obvious use of cork stands out a bit too much.
I use cork a lot, and do everything I can to transform it.
