				<description><![CDATA[ What do you guys think?<br /> <br /> Seems logical that jump troops should be able to assault flying monstrous creatures while they are in the air. ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ I'd argue that by the same logic, Jet Pack infantry, Jetbikes, Jump/Jet Pack <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(93);'>MCs</span> and <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(630);'>FMCs</span> should be able to as well.<br /> <br /> Now this does kinda open a pandora's box, but considering that assault is a little UP, and that all of the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(630);'>FMCs</span> out there are, at the bare minimum, competent melee fighters (and some, like melee Tyrants or Daemon Princes, are pretty formidable), I'm happy opening the box.]]></description>

It's potentially a cool way to get more use out of certain units and provide a counter for flyers that doesn't involve shot spam or skyfire.  That said, it can get a bit complicated (would an <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(630);'>FMC</span> that's swooping be locked in combat?), and it applies to enough units to have some odd unforeseen consequences.  Swooping hawks, for instance, would have both their "haywire vector strike" and the ability to assault flyers.  Flyers would not last long on any table with a squad of them around.  <br /> <br /> I think this idea might work best when limited to specific units so you can limit the number of unforeseen interactions it might cause.  Making this into part of a formation might work well.  Making this a dark eldar hellion formation, for instance, would give them a new potential niche (though <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(93);'>MCs</span> would chop them up fast), and it would actually work pretty well as an assault marine formation (krak grenades delivered mid-air?  Ouch.)  <br /> <br /> What's the main goal here?  To counter <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(630);'>FMCs</span>/flyers?  To boost jump inantry?  just a cool idea?  If you just want to boost jump infantry,  I'm rather fond of giving them the ability to jink as they're smallish, fast moving targets that could theoretically maneuver out of the way of shots better than a lot of vehicles that can jink.  It ups their survivability thus making it easier to get them across the table despite nasty anti-infantry guns, it's useful even against armies that lack flyers, and it happens to synergize well with Raven Guard chapter tactics. ]]></description>

Teleporter packs not so much, but assault marines can totally fly for a little while.  ]]></description>
