Reports are he was taking cocaine, "herbal Viagra", imbibing some cognac, possibly taking other drugs and had been there for quite some time.

He was a key part of the Lakers last two championship teams winning a sixth man of the year award. I'm not a Lakers fan but was impressed with him as well as sad to see his precipitous career decline. Gotta hope that if he pulls through he can get it together and he will finally have hit the bottom. Plenty of Lakers he played with seem to still have a connection with him. Sorry Alpharius, I have little sympathy for someone who literally has everything and doesn't have to worry about anything except his health....and what does he do? Fething ODs. Darwinism isn't a belief system, its a scientific theory. Its true whether people believe in it or not. Nor does "weak" and "strong" play into it, but rather something like "able to survive and reproduce in the current environment".

What you seem to be a big believer in is eugenics. Do you believe people with poor eyesight should be able to breed, or do you think that serves to "weaken the species"?
