Tyranids in the Eye of Terror

Since the Shadow in the Warp basically blocks all warp-related shenanigans (Psykers either die or can't manifest powers, Daemons start losing strength rapidly etc) I'd say that the Eye itself stays, but the Daemons are trapped within, unable to materialize since they're basically being "blanked" out by the Hive.

However, I would totally pay to see the Hive Mind rip and tear the Chaos Gods a new one.

I doubt it would ever happen though, since neither 'Nid nor Daemon gets anything from fighting each other (read Codex:Tyranids), no biomass for the hive, no souls/blood/whatever for the Daemons.

With how strong the warp is, I can see the nids loosing their link to the hive mind and becoming feral, just roaming the warp and attacking anything at random. It would make for some interesting themed games. I wonder how someone could model nids to look more feral?

There is no stories of nids trapped in the warp for prolonged periods.

Not true, after the battle of Iyanden the craftworld was pursued by another tendril of Hive Fleet Kraken and eventually the Farseers opted to simply open a massive Warp rift in the midst of the Hive Fleet, sucking the entire thing into the Warp. The Hive Fleet spent an unknown amount of time cruising through the Warp, and eventually emerged from a Warp anomaly in the Valedor system. Time spent in the Warp, unprotected by Gellar fields etc, had absolutely no effect on the Hive Fleet at all. In fact, it wakes up and besieged the nearest planet within minutes of emerging into real space. The Hive Mind was completely unfazed by the experience.

Saying that the Shadow in the Warp could do something to the warp itself or Daemons haven't understood how the shadow actually emerges; the Shadow comes from extreme traffic between the material universe and the Warp because of the extreme communication of Tyranid creatures. It seems that the Tyranid race enjoys much immunity from everything else either by fanboys and/or some authors if a Tyranid force can enter and leave the Warp without anything happening to it. I can't imagine that pride, warlust or the need to corrupt wouldn't be incitaments for some Daemons or Gods to attack the Tyranids. The argument "well they don't feel, so we'll just leave them be, no matter what" is just too poor an argument...
