				<description><![CDATA[ Hello, Dakka! <br /> <br /> Bellow is my work-in-progress <i>degenerate</i> drop pod Skitarii List. If anyone has any C/C, I am more than happy to receive it.<br /> <br /> <b>Skitarii Maniple:</b><br /> <br /> 10x Skitarii Vanguard with Arkhans Diviner (<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(227);'>WL</span>) Omnispex, 3x Plasma Caliver 7x Radium Rifles<br /> 10x Skitarii Vanguard with Omnispex, 3x Plasma Caliver, 7x Radium Rifles<br /> 10x Skitarii Vanguard with Omnispex, 3x Plasma Caliver, 7x Radium Rifles <br /> 10x Skitarii Vanguard with Omnispex, 3x Plasma Caliver, 7x Radium Rifles <br /> 10x Skitarii Vanguard with Omnispex, 3x Arc Rifle, 7x Radium Rifles<br /> 10x Skitarii Vanguard with Omnispex, 3x Arc Rifle, 7x Radium Rifles<br /> <br /> <b>Flesh Tearer Detachment:</b> <br /> <br /> 6x Drop Pod <br /> 1x Sanguinary Priest (Auspex, Melta Bombs)<br /> 5x Scouts <br /> <br /> <br /> This is all around 1250~ points.<br /> <br /> Now, my immediate thoughts are to add the following:<br /> <br /> Possibly 1-2 Onagers with Icarus Arrays to handle flyers.<br /> <br /> An Inquisitorial Detatchment, including a (Possibly) Ordo Xenos Inquisitor with a Beamer, or just a Basic Inquisitor (Both with Servo Skulls), in a Rhino with some Servitors.<br /> <br /> From there, possibly swapping the scouts for Assault Marines, tossing them into an extra drop pod, and then adding one or two more squads also in Drop pods, allowing me to Turn 1 Assault all 5 Vanguard Pods on top of a Servo Skull.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Last week I posted my vision of degeneracy, and now I've made some final changes to it.<br /> <br /> Behold, and feel free to critique, my 90-some-odd infantry army.<br /> <br /> Skitarii Maniple:<br /> 10x Skitarii Vanguard with Arkhans Diviner Omnispex, 3x Plasma Caliver 7x Radium Rifles <br /> 10x Skitarii Vanguard with Omnispex, 3x Plasma Caliver 7x Radium Rifles <br /> 10x Skitarii Vanguard with Omnispex, 3x Plasma Caliver 7x Radium Rifles <br /> 10x Skitarii Vanguard with Omnispex, 3x Plasma Caliver 7x Radium Rifles <br /> 10x Skitarii Vanguard with Omnispex, 3x Arc Rifle 7x Radium Rifles <br /> 10x Skitarii Vanguard with Omnispex, 3x Arc Rifle 7x Radium Rifles <br /> <br /> Flesh Tearer Detachment:<br /> 6x Drop Pod <br /> 1x TechMarine with Conversion Beamer <br /> 5x Tactical Marines with Grav Cannon in Drop Pod<br /> 5x Tactical Marines with Grav Cannon in Drop Pod<br /> 5x Tactical Marines with Grav Cannon in Drop Pod<br /> <br /> Inquisitorial Detatchment:<br /> Inquisitor (<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(227);'>WL</span>) with Conversion Beamer, Power Armor and 3x Servo Skulls<br /> Servitors to fill up the last<br /> Rhino<br /> <br /> Now, the general idea is to Park the Inquisitor, the Techmarine and the Servitors in their Rhino, as far away from the enemy as possible. Then, Turn 1, Drop all 5 Skitarii Drop Pods down (Hopefully near Servo Skulls to reduce scatter), and fire a horrible number of shots down on the enemy.<br /> It's worth noting, Skitarii Radium Rifles auto wound x2 on 6's, regardless of toughness.<br /> I can also activate the maniple turn one to give them BS7 or so until the end of the turn, making the alpha strike all the more mean.<br /> Thoughts, opinions, critique?<br /> Currently I'm dead on board to most flyers, but I feel like that's a simple enough change. Just drop some troops for some Dunecrawlers, if deemed necessary.<br /> <br /> Further, I'm told Blood Angels came out to soon and may not have access to grav. Can anyone confirm/deny?]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Flamers = your death. <br /> <br /> <br /> Love the idea though, just take a bunch of skit pods and semi alpha strike. I would suggest spamming haywire in a few of the pods. Nothing is better than haywiring a knight to death with just firewarriors or skit troops. Its cheaper than the BILLIONS of points in grav cannons you spent. Drop each down to a Grav gun and still get rapid fire 2 shots or take Grav cents if you are doing a grav bomb. <br /> <br /> Take the pts saved there and a melta squad of skits in a pod.Watch out for flamers. . ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ So my friend's admech/skit list had similarish idea.. his main goal was getting as many free points as possible .... 750 or so =/<br /> <br /> Anyway <img src="/s/i/a/baf5f2e54c6b17d5c5d39aecadfa1272.gif" border="0"><br /> <br /> Another option to the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(10);'>BA</span> pods is to use the Space Wolve Formation that is.<br /> 1 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(56);'>HQ</span>, 2 Elites mandatory, and then i forget how many fast attacks you have open.<br /> <br /> My friend took a Priest and then 2 single servitors which is (50 points) .   Just another pod option.. if it works for you.<br /> <br /> I can say that his alpha strike wiped out 3 of my riptides turn 1 the first time we played... so it is definitely brutal.<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <span style="font-size: 9px; line-height: normal;">Automatically Appended Next Post:</span><br /> Possibly consider Admech though as well...  Your own grav destroyers are really good...  with 30" range and can get twin linked i believe from your buff options.]]></description>

You can take a praetor and 3 of these <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(93);'>MC</span> as bodyguards to make look out sirs on. Its pure cheesey insanity. ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Just some suggestions.<br /> <br /> 1) Adding some hard/durable units to your fairly soft skitarii is a good idea. It would give you some <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(19);'>CC</span> ability and forces the opponent to make priority choices. Kill the plasma-toting skitarii and then be charged by Flesh Tearers, or kill the Flesh Tearers and then be shot by the skitarii. Replace the Techmarine with a Librarian, place him in a pod with marines and drop them turn 1 closer to the enemy than the skitarii pods.<br /> <br /> 2) Depending on your models and playing style - dropping a Dreadnaught with a heavy flamer and multi-melta would focus your opponents attention on something other than your skitarii.<br /> <br /> 3) Buy the missile add-on for the pods. For 3 meltabombs you have a 12 inch no-go zone around each pod. The opponent simply must waste shooting phases on killing the empty (but firing) pods instead of your scoring squads.<br /> <br /> 4) Inquisitors are good buffers. A Malleus Inquisitor with Hellrifle, 3 plasma servitors, psykers and some acrolytes to serve as cannon fodder makes power armoured troops cry.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Looks like a really strong list!<br /> <br /> A note on your inquisitor - I think the extra points to make the rhino a chimera is worth it. It gains 2 reasonable heavy weapons, AV12 front and the ability to fire 5 henchmen/servitors from it.<br /> <br /> Have you considered a raptor wing to take down fliers? It's two stormtalons and a landspeeder arriving turn 2 automatically. The stormtalons get shred/tank hunter against a unit within 24 inches of the speeder.<br /> <br /> I think it'd synergise well with your list, giving you some <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(805);'>AA</span> you are lacking plus a little more mobility after the initial drop.<br /> <br /> If you went an entirely different route, 400 points could buy you some nigh immovable objective secured guardsmen (in an allied detachment). the conscripts could go a long way to tying up anything you couldn't kill...<br /> <br /> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(19);'><span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(338);'>CCS</span></span> with autocannon 70pts<br /> <br /> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(331);'>PCS</span> with autocannon 40pts<br /> 2 combined infantry squads with autocannons + attached priest 145pts<br /> 40 conscripts with attached priest 145pts<br /> <br /> 500 points is enough to fit in a cheap skyhammer force as well... Just in case your horrific alpha-strike needed a horrific beta-strike to go with it.]]></description>
