				<title>DE Raider and Ravager change.</title>
				<description><![CDATA[ So there are tons of small changes that could make Codex: Missed Opportunities....I mean Dark Eldar a much better book without being over the top. But recently I have been thinking about the Skimmers.<br /> Based on the model itself and how models ride on it (hanging on the outside rather than embarked within) I think the following would be neat:<br /> <br /> -Ravagers should have Transport Capacity 6 a la Eldar Falcons. This makes sense because the added side guns don't take up much more room than about 2 models each side.<br /> -Raiders should be able to carry Jump Infantry models.  Not a huge change but the idea of 5 Scourges hanging off the edge of a Raider about to pounce into position (or simply using it as "cover") is pretty cool<br /> <br /> What do you guys think?]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ I like the change to Ravagers, I'd include twin linking their guns as well.<br /> <br /> I disagree with the Raider change, mainly because I can't see myself ever using it. If I'm running Scourges I like the fact that they can move 12" without having to Snap Fire and they already have Deep Strike, the onyl thing the Raider would add is survivablilty but frankly I treat Scourges as a suicide unit anyway, <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(471);'>DS</span>'ing in and deleting a vehicle of my choice with Heat Lances before the retaliation removes them from the board. <br /> <br /> For me, I'd increase their Transport capacity to 12, decrease the upgrade costs of Nightshields and Splinter Racks to 10pts each and allow it to take Flickerfields for 15pts. ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ I always thought that <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(27);'>DE</span> vehicles should have 2-3 changes, the ability to do a type of vector strike like chaos screamers (hence bladevanes) they should have a 5+ invul STOCK and they should either be able to <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(278);'>JsJ</span> in some fashion, or be able to move flat out and still fire as they are supposed to be sacrificing armor for breakneck speeds and pinpoint accuracy. <br /> <br /> Not sure how I like transporting jump infantry, think that is a general nono, but ravagers SHOULD have transport capacity, that is very true]]></description>

It wouldn't be a game tactic rule, just a "the model looks like it could do it" rule.<br /> The opposite would be true about the Ravager being twin-linked. It doesn't look like it is. However, a modified version of their old "Aerial Assault" rule would be cool if it let them snap-fire on -1 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(14);'>BS</span> instead of BS1]]></description>

The fact is it's 3 singel shot guns, even at it's best the Ravager just can't dish out the damage and at this point I would say is distinctly worse than Scourges, Reavers, Blasterborne and even the Talos at anti-tank, whilst arguably being more expensive than all of them.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ I like the idea with the Ravagers: was thinking about much the same, actually.<br /> <br /> The proposed Raider change? Err... Well, it's cool but not entirely useful. I wouldn't object, but it wouldn't change a whole lot.<br /> <br /> I'd like to see Flickerfields back in the wargear list for all <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(27);'>DE</span> vehicles (leave them included by default on Venoms). Raiders, let me move Cruising Speed and still disembark normally, or fire at full Ballistic Skill. Also, Enhanced Aethersails: in addition to the current rules, let a model equipped with them move <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(1);'>2D6</span>" in the Assault Phase if they did not move Flat Out (like Eldar Jetbikes can).<br /> <br /> Then yes, bring back Aerial Assault. It's not <i>huge</i>, but it would help, especially if Ravagers can pop out, fire, then rabbit back behind cover. Or have a Raider pop out, drop off its passengers, fire, then rabbit back so it can then go the other way and pick up another squad the following turn.<br /> <br /> All this, to me, fits with the idea that Dark Eldar <i>never slow down</i> while fighting. They might not always be the absolute fastest in a straight line (though usually they are), but they never stop, never slow down. Or at least, that's how they ought to work...]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Ya know, I'd be OK with not having the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(545);'>FF</span> option for anything other than Venoms if Night Shields granted Shrouding instead of Stealth. Sure Ignores cover would still wreck our paper airplanes, but having a stock 5+ cover in the open, or 2+ while Jinking or in a Ruin would be pretty sweet. It would also pair well with Night fighting, which let's be honest <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(27);'>DE</span> should have NF every turn]]></description>

Fluff-wise it makes sense. <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(27);'>DE</span> aren't tough, but they are sneaky. Having Shroud from Night Shields and Stealth from first turn Night Fight is very much Dark Eldar<br /> <br /> Honestly, if the Real Space Raiders Detachment provided Shrouded to all units in the first turn AND guaranteed Night Fight in that same turn, it would go a long way toward providing a fluffy AND game-winning army.]]></description>
