				<description><![CDATA[ Hi,<br /> <br /> I've received some valuable remarks on my previous lists, so here's my latest. <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(69);'>IG</span> main force with <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(520);'>MT</span> allied detachment.<br /> <br /> Primary detachment - <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(683);'>CAD</span><br /> <br /> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(56);'>HQ</span>: <br /> Pask as warlord in <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(87);'>LR</span> Punisher (no sponsons), <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(87);'>LR</span> Eradicator as wingman<br /> <br /> Troops<br /> <li>Infantry platoon, consisting of a platoon command, a 3-squad strong blob squad, a commissar and a primaris psyker</li> <br /> <li>Veteran squad w/ 2 meltas and a dedicated chimera outfitted w/ dozer blade and augur array</li> <br /> <br /> Secondary detachment - <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(520);'>MT</span> allied detachment<br /> <br /> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(56);'>HQ</span><br /> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(520);'>MT</span> command squad w/ 3 plasma guns<br /> <br /> Troops<br /> 6-man strong <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(520);'>MT</span> Scion squad w/ 2 hot-shot volley guns<br /> <br /> This adds up to 992 points. From the remaining points, I'm thiking about buying some extra for Pask, a dozer blade or maybe a recovery gear, and outfitting the blob sergeants with boltguns instead of laspistols. I'm also considering ditching the commissar from the blob and switching the Eradicator to an Executioner.<br /> <br /> Any thoughts?<br /> ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ What upgrades do you have on your Infantry Platoon? Taking naked Infantry Squads isn't recommended. I'd at least try to give them each a Meltagun or an Autocannon depending on their role. A Ministorum Priest would be a great addition if you are blobbing them together and being aggressive (probably in place of the Commissar or Psyker). <br /> <br /> Why Hot-Shot Volley Guns on the Scion squad? Plasma is much more versatile, though a bit more expensive. As-is that squad cannot hurt vehicles at all (except for Krak grenades). ]]></description>

You have 3 Plasmaguns, 2 Meltaguns, and a Multi-Laser. My 1K list is a Steel Host formation of 6 Leman Russ tanks and a Hydra, how would you deal with that? How do you deal with Flyers? Is this a <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(167);'>TAC</span> list or is it tailored to your specific meta?]]></description>

Is this a <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(167);'>TAC</span> list or is it tailored to your specific meta?</div></blockquote><br /> <br /> It's supposed to be a <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(167);'>TAC</span> list for a beginner's tournament at my local wargame club. <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(17);'>Btw</span>, one of the missions is going to be Big Guns Never Tire, so I'd like to avoid bringing too many tanks, to avoid giving the chance for my opponent to gain extra victory points.<br /> <br /> Regarding anti-armor, I'm thinking about adding multi-melta sponsons for Pask, plus a techpriest for <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(470);'>POTMS</span>, instead one of the infantry squads. <br /> <br /> Regarding flyers, you're right, but I have no Valkyrie, neither a Hydra, so I'm pretty much  <img src="/s/i/a/7ae18ba11c7ba79f6898e876a4b8ba4a.gif" border="0">ed if someone brings a flyer-centered list.<br /> <br /> ]]></description>

They're great in lower point games because of this. <br /> <br /> I'd much rather see Meltaguns or Meltabombs on your Infantry Squads than Multi-Meltas on a Punisher. If anything the Punisher should get Heavy Bolters. <br /> <br /> I don't think an Eginseer would be worth the points in a 1,000 point game, I'd rather use that to buy sponsons for the tanks or Meltaguns for the infantry. ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ That list looks MUCH better in my opinion. If you're careful with the Tank Commander unit you shouldn't need any bubble wrap. That list has much more firepower, mobility, and anti-armor than your original. Looks good!]]></description>

Jump-shoot-jump, deepstriking melta units, brightlances...no chance. The Chimera of the melta vets was glanced to death on Turn 1, Pask got fried on Turn 2 without being able to fire a shot. Actually, the melta vets didn't stand a chance in the next two games either (another eldar and an ork opponent). They never got into 12" range, let alone the 6" melta range. 				<description><![CDATA[ Some after advice for the next game, throw camo nets on all your tanks and transports specially if your bub wrapping. This will give you a 4+ cover with just the guys in front of it and a 3+ during night fighting. <br /> <br /> I think the problem was that you threw all your anti tank in 1 spot on the vets, consider a psyker for divination on the blob along with either Las cannons or auto cannons next time. Prescience with orders can be pretty nasty. ]]></description>

				<title>[1000] - Astra Militarum - with MT allies</title>
				<description><![CDATA[ Instead of just an allied tempestus list which doesn't add much else take the new get started tempestus formation. <a href="https://imgur.com/a/cMUkC" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">https://imgur.com/a/cMUkC</a><br /> It is the same units except you need to take a 25pt commissar and a 80pt taurox prime and the formation benefit is your scion platoon respawns over and over with all of thier upgrades when they are killed as long as that commissar is still alive. So put that scion unit in the taurox prime and run to your opponents line even if they do wipe that unit it respawns and is placed in deepstrike reserve to come in the next turn just like new. To find the points you will need to drop the augur which isn't needed if the scion squad begins on the board, drop melta bombs, drop dozer blades, change the plasma grendier vets to basic melta vets. In return you gain a battle cannon fast taurox (another armour target with a big tank weapon) and your plasma scion squad is undying. You need to protect that commissar though.<br /> <br /> For the tanks getting killed I always use the smoke grenades and fire order the first turn especially during night fighting or with camo nets.  This usually gives you at least two turns with your tanks. If you want you can also take the autocannon turret on the chimeras it's a free swap from the multi laser. You lose a shot but gain ap4 twinlinked and <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(123);'>str</span> 7.]]></description>

According to the 6th ed. codex, the turret multilaser can only be replaced by a heavy flamer or a heavy bolter. ]]></description>

I'm not sure which one. Local tournaments rarely allow Forge World to be used so I never converted my turrets. ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ The autocannon turret is in forgeworld book <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(61);'>IA1</span>.<br /> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(39);'>Fw</span> sells the turrets or easily converted.<br /> There is a bunch of cool unit lists in there.<br /> If your tournament is ITC it's usually allowed<br /> <br /> Another cool unit is the tank commander with coaxial stubber allows you to reroll your primary weapon and also has specialist shells for the vanquisher. Such as beast hunter shells which makes your vanquisher Fire str8 ap2 small blast Insta death monster hunter that's quasi twinlinked with the coaxial stubber. If it hits it can Insta kill <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(93);'>MCs</span> and do d3 wounds to GMC.<br /> <br /> If you already have the models you really don't need to buy the formstion but it is a good deal since its ~45% off. $85 (less with online retailers 20-25% off) for two scion boxes, the new commissar model, and a taurox prime. I play krieg so I only bought the taurox since I will use krieg engineers as storm troopers and the krieg commissar.]]></description>
